We include Google web search on our site to make it easier for you to find your way around the web. However there are around 90 billion pages on the internet so knowing how to narrow your search can save you a lot of time.
Below are some tips to help you get the most out of our Google search:
Type the words in bold to get the results shown.
house insurance
Pages that contain both words, in any order
house OR insurance
Pages containing either word
"house insurance"
Putting words in speech-marks will return only pages with that exact phrase
house -insurance
Limits the search by returning pages including the word 'house' but excluding the word 'insurance'
louis +X
To speed up searches, Google automatically excludes small words, letters and numbers. Use '+' to force it to be included.
house * insurance
Finds the two words in that order but separated by one or more words
~car insurance
Finds insurance for cars and words related to cars - such as motor, truck, etc.
Insurance £50...100
Numbers separated by three full stops will find pages with the word insurance and any amount between £50 and £100
