What is BT PC Text

BT PC Text is a great way to send text messages to any mobile from your email account using your PC or PDA - no more fiddling about, just type the message you want and send! You can send text messages to anyone with a UK mobile or landline, this is made easy if you already have their details stored in your email address book. Every time you send a text you will receive an email letting you know that it has been received allowing easy tracking and storage of messages with your mail. With this "Lite" service you only pay for the texts and can top up your account credits as and when you need to!

If you use text regularly, you may want to upgrade to our Premium service, this gives you your own personal number and allows you to send and receive messages straight from your PC using email, all this for a one off set up fee of £30. There is nothing to pay thereafter apart from topping up your credits, making keeping in touch with your colleagues and customers simple, fast and easy.


What do I get?

Pricing and Payment

Each text message of 160 characters or less that you send, will cost you from 6p (exc vat). You will be able to receive replies to your mobile phone. A range of text messaging bundles are available - the more you buy, the cheaper the cost of sending a text message!

For a one off set up fee of £30 you can have your own 'virtual mobile phone number' to send and receive text messages directly from your email. If you only want to send text messages, there is no set up fee; just make sure you keep topping up your BT PC Text credits.

Making payment and topping up your account can be done securely, online using most major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, Visa Electron, Maestro and Solo cards).
